Pulping Process

Pulp Refining

Formation

The refined pulp of wrapping paper for flowers is then diluted with water. This water is evenly distributed by moving the wire mesh. As the water drains through the mesh, the fibres of cellulose start bonding and form a continuous web of wet paper. This process is done with attention to detail so that the exact paper can be obtained. These steps involve: 

• The slurry is controlled to maintain the optimal length of the fibre and concentration of water. 
• Retention against such as polyacrylamides is added to the pulp. It improves the bonding of the fibre and ensures that the fillers remain uniformly distributed within the paper.

Initial Dewatering

After the printed flower bouquet paper web is produced it passes through a series of press rollers that remove the excessive water. In this process, the fiber network is consolidated and paper achieves the desired density and strength. 

Hot Pressing

The wet paper is subjected to hot pressing. In this process, heat and pressure are applied to the paper at the same time to remove the excess water and give a smooth and dense paper sheet. Hot pressing also improves the mechanical strength of the paper and enhances fibre bonding. Lates, such as styrene-butadiene, are added to the paper during the pressing stage. Coating And Finishing
